Patricia fell in love with a pair of black pearls she bought on the island of Moorea, off Tahiti. Having recently left her job, she took husband's suggestion, and decide to become a black pearl dealer. She was bombarded with questions about the black pearls everywhere she went. "Did you really go to Tahiti to get them?" "Why are they black?" "Why are they so expensive?" "How can you tell a real black pearl from a fake one?"
