Nancy Russo Wilson was born in New York City and came to Ithaca, New York as an infant. Her father was a surgeon as is her brother, several uncles and several cousins. Her aunts were nurses. She grew up listening to stories and healing, laced with Italian interpretations of life, love food and family...Nancy was one of the first five-hundred Nurse Practitioners trained in the United States. She graduated in 1976 and went into Family and Women's Health. Her many years of advanced Nursing practice include College Health. Her many years of advanced Nursing practice include College Health, Family Health, Prison Health, Pain Management and Elder Care. In addition to her Nursing degrees Nancy holds a BS degree in Health Education from SUNY Cortland College and a Masters of Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.Although she is officially retired, Nancy spends hours in helping others often spontaneously and with laughter. Her passions are swimming, cooking and living a natural and simple life with her husband Bruce. Nancy splits her time between Ithaca and the Finger Lakes of New York and in Sarasota, Florida.
