BB is a widow and reluctantly aging baby-boomer with a pot of money and loads of time. She is determined to take her granddaughters on a 21st Century Grand Tour. But it is not that easy. Fractured families are not uncommon today, nor are the bad feelings caused by an ugly divorce. Now BB must play nice to her former daughter-in-law in order to secure permission to take Emily out of the country. This global road trip covers eight major destinations; part crime caper, travel log, and family dynamics. There are always good intentions in anticipation of each location, but sadly these soon fall apart as BB has a way of finding mayhem and misunderstandings in any time zone. Wheels Up is comfortable often hilarious ride, and far easier than actually packing and getting on a plane. Bon Voyage.
