I became familiar with Sarasota when I was invited by my cousin Florence Wildner who had chosen to live there, in Nokomis, some years ago.
I discovered a beautiful, thriving entertaining and especially culturally active city, as she did, but without the frenzy of other metropolises.
I captivated by the harmony of its landscape and its people; the succession of white sand beaches in the different shorelines and keys, and above all a varied cultural offer whose main exponent, the "John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art", stands out and integrates a large complex surrounded by gardens with valuable botanical species, an educational center, a jewel, being the Historic Asolo Theater, and a Circus Museum that made its home here.
Undoubtedly, a perfect city and its surroundings to stroll relaxed, enjoying its architecture, and also its excellent cuisine.
I hope that these following images can capture the beauty, elegance and serenity of city that preserves that special charm in each of its corners.
